Hydrangea Heaven
Wedding Flowers set in a Georgian Country House in early Autumn
We love working with beautiful Hydrangea as it's one of our favorite flowers. A great choice for a September wedding as they always looks so stunning at this time of year.
For this wedding we wanted to keep the floral style very simple allowing the beautiful Hydrangea wedding flowers to stand out.
The bride's bouquet needed to compliment her beautiful wedding gown and the only embellishment to the white Hydrangea was a touch of silver mirroring her necklace. As a contrast in texture we used white roses for the gentlemen's buttonholes but also added the silver embellishment to carry the theme from the bride's bouquet. Great to mix the simplicity of this beautiful flower with the eclectic feel of the wonderful Bellinter House in Co. Meath. Setting the scene in the gorgeous ceremony room with it's vaulted ceiling and pillars we lightly decorated with purple Hydrangea, fern, ivy and just a hint of white Lisianthus . Tall arrangements of purple Hydrangea in clear glass vases were used on the window ledges. Ivy draped candelabra carried the look through to the restaurant where tables were also dressed with elegant tall Hydrangea arrangements. The whole day was a tribute to a handsome groom and a simply stunning bride......and of course the heavenly Hydrangea wedding flowers.Bride & Groom : Caroline & Kevin
